In the MEEP, the moving electrode plate collects dust and the rotary brush within the lower hopper removes dust from the electrode surface.
In the MEEP, the moving electrode plate collects dust and the rotary brush within the lower hopper removes dust from the electrode surface. Therefore, the MEEP can effectively collect highly-resistive dust, which cannot be removed by the hammering method in general fixed electrodes, as well as the fine dust which re-entrain into flue gas in the hammering method. As a result, the dust collection area can be reduced substantially.
As shown in Figure below, basic structure of the MEEP is different from conventional ESP.
First field: fixed electrode
Second field: fixed electrode
Third field: moving electrode
MEEP can collect fine and sticky dust:
- Rotating brush——no rapping re-entrainment
- Brush locates out of main gas stream——no re-entrainment.
- MEEP can brush the ash which can not be rapped of.
Getting rid of high resistivity dust efficiently——preventing back corona
No dust re-entrainment
Can collect fine dust and sticky dust efficiently

- Flue gas treatment for Sintering Machine features faces high resistivity dust problem and re-entrainment. MEEP proves to be most applicable to for flue gas treatment for Sintering Machine with its technical characteristics.
